MIGUEL SOLIMAN
PRESIDENT
A second generation builder, Miguel Soliman, began setting the foundation for his future in the 1970's, when he would accompany his father to construction projects which would later prove to be a very valuable experience.
At age 17, he earned a diploma in Architectural Drafting & Design from an accredited college and at 20 years old, he acquired his State Certified Building Contractor's License. In 2003, he acquired his Miami-Dade County General Contractors License and in 2009 he acquired his State Certified General Contractors License. His experience in the Architectural Department at Burger King Corporation as an Architectural Designer/Construction Manager in the early to mid 1980’s would serve him to gain great corporate experience, which he would draw from in the future in setting up his own corporation. From 1987 to 2003 Mr. Soliman would diversify his business from residential construction of housing developments to various commercial construction projects. In 2003, Mr. Soliman founded Soliman Structures, Inc., specializing in the construction of structural shells for post tension mid-rise and high-rise buildings. Mr. Soliman personally oversees construction management, estimating and scheduling for all projects and maintains close supervision of all field personnel and subcontractors to ensure project compliance and conformance with required specifications.
Mr. Soliman enjoys developing direct and close relations with clients and strives to achieve excellence by delivering high quality, timely and cost-efficient projects that have superseded over one hundred million dollars in construction projects to date.
Michael soliman
Chief business officer
Michael Soliman was born and raised in Miami, Florida and is the eldest of three sons whom operate Soliman Structures alongside their father, the founder, Miguel Soliman.
Michael began with the company as a part-time office clerk the day after graduating high school, while beginning to work on his college degree. Although commencing as an office clerk, assisting the office manager in everything from filing and sorting the mail to executing weekly payroll, Michael would take regular visits to various jobsites to become better acquainted with everything a construction site entails. After time, he began to work strictly in the field full-time, alongside his brother Steven, in order to fully understand the process of raising a building from the ground up. This would involve working as manual labor, pouring concrete, reading plans, carpentry, purchasing and delivering materials, and much more.
After becoming well versed in the field and graduating from FIU with a bachelor’s degree, Michael once again transitioned back to the office, this time preparing all bids and proposals as the Chief Estimator for Soliman Structures. The chief estimator not only coordinates all incoming projects and pricing for each job the company bids, but keeps correspondence with developers/general contractors, constructs and reviews proposals and contracts, tracks and creates R.F.I.’s and submittals, and creates the project scheduling. Today, Michael is officially the Chief Business Officer within the company and is also the Broker and Principal for Soliman Realty Group, assisting Soliman Structures in real estate acquisition.
